World Refugee Day 2004: Cyprus
World Refugee Day, 20 June 2004
A UNHCR newsletter was distributed to refugees to inform them about their rights and to strengthen the dialogue with them.
A press conference was organised on World Refugee Day in cooperation with a Group of Volunteers for the Support of Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Cyprus, the Asylum Service and the Ministry of Interior.
A note on World Refugee Day, with this year's special theme, was sent to schools by the Ministry of Education.
