In an effort to professionalize the UNHCR Staff Development function, the role of the post is to support the shaping and the promotion of a performance and learning culture in UNHCR by developing learning strategies providing strategic guidance, as well as developing and/or delivering effective Finance and Administration-related learning activities.

Through his/her finance/administration-related work, the incumbent is accountable for seeking ways to influence the learning culture by aligning effective learning with organizational, divisional and partner goals especially by providing internal consultancy services to other training and learning providers on the design, development, delivery and evaluation of learning activities.
