UNHCR hosted the third Berlin Symposium on Refugee Protection, targeting NGOs, judges and civil servants. Speeches by the Minister of Interior and UNHCR Representative in Germany were broadcast on national television.

Educational materials on refugee youth were distributed to some 200 teachers in Berlin, where two seminars for teachers were held.
