On 18 June, the 7^th Berlin Symposium for refugee protection was organized by UNHCR and the Evangelische Akademie zu Berlin. Entiled "Borders of Europe - Borders for refugee protection," the symposium discussed EU policies regarding the human rights and protection rights of refugees. Some 300 people attended.
