Election of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees

[1]At its 111th plenary meeting, on 10 December 1985, the General Assembly, on the proposal of the Secretary-General,[2] elected Mr. Jean-Pierre Hocké as United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for a term of office of three years beginning on 1 January 1986.
