UNHCR publishes materials for different audiences on all aspects of 'the refugee experience.' For humanitarian experts, lawyers and government, there is an extensive library ranging from basic documents such as the 1951 Refugee covention, refugee and international law reports and research and evaluation papers. The agency's worldwide operations are covered in The Global Appeal and Global Report. The site has a map library, photo archives, a video unit, reports on specialized subjects such as the environment and field manuals. There is the biannual State of the Worlds Refugees, the quarterly Refugees Magazine and numerous brochures, leaflets and posters.



The Global Appeal

Two sister publications, The Global Report and The Global Appeal offer a comprehensive view of the agency's operations and annual requirements. Although designed primarily for governments and UNHCR's partners, they are an invaluable guide for general readers to UNHCR's worldwide operations.
