On June 20, we celebrate World Refugee Day. This year, events around the world will focus on the fundamental need for protection. Since its foundation in 1951, UNHCR has protected tens of millions of refugees in more than 100 countries. Today, more than ever, protection is a challenge that affects the lives of everyone, everywhere in the world.
