Bolivia: Current information on the treatment of Central Obrera Boliviana (COB) workers by the government

Please find attached several news articles that report on the recent (March-May 1995) labour conflict involving the Bolivian labour federation Central Obrera Boliviana (COB).

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
