Bolivia: Information on whether the MNR party was responsible for electoral fraud in the 1993 elections

Information on electoral fraud committed by the MNR party during the June 1993 general and December 1993 municipal elections could not be found among the sources currently available to the DIRB.

For your information, please find attached some articles that mention allegations of fraud and discuss the results of both elections.

This response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
