Little information on the Hong Kong publication Cheng Ming could be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
According to the World's News Media, Cheng Ming is a monthly current-affairs magazine published in Chinese (1991, 218). Information as to whether it was available in Shanghai and Quangzhou, the types of articles, whether it was ever banned or censored in the PRC and, if so, the consequences of sharing a copy could not be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
