Five Afghan soldiers have been killed by a roadside bomb in the western province of Herat.
Local officials said the soldiers were killed on October 19 when their army truck struck a home-made bomb.
No one has claimed responsibility but similar attacks in the past have been blamed on the Taliban.
The attack took place in Pashtun Zarghun district.
