U.S. Committee for Refugees World Refugee Survey 2004 - Latvia

At the end of 2003, Latvia hosted 8 recognized refugees and had received asylum applications from 5 persons during the year, 3 from Georgia and 2 from Russia. Latvia granted none refugee status, but gave subsidiary protection to 6 applicants from Russia.
