| Comments | A Law to provide for the recognition of refugees and for the better implementation of the Convention relating to the Status of Refugees. This is a consolidated version of the Refugee Law, which incorporates the amendments made in 2007, namely by Law 112(I) of 2007. It is an unofficial translation which was made by UNHCR Cyprus for the purposes of use in the office. However, it has been requested by and has been shared with the authorities of the Republic. Further amendments to the Refugee Law are expected to be passed by the Parliament before the end of 2009. |
