According to Human Rights Watch, Correio da Semana is a weekly newspaper, one of the government controlled media outlets (2000). No reports on Correio da Semana could be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate nor is it listed among the various Amnesty International reports on freedom of expression in Angola (Amnesty International 2000; ibid., July 2000; November 1999).
