The expert round table "The return of non-refugees and alternative migration options" which took place in Geneva, Switzerland, 30 November – 1 December 2009, was the third in a series of four thematic discussions on UNHCR's 10-Point Plan of Action on Refugee Protection and Mixed Migration (the first one took place in Geneva in November 2008, and the second one in Tunis in July 2009). It was convened jointly by UNHCR, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the International Labour Office (ILO), and funded by the European Commission.
