At least 62 people were killed and more than 127 were injured in a bomb attack on a busy market in Baghdad on Wednesday.
A bomb hidden in a trailer attached to a motorcycle was set off in the market in the predominantly Shi'a district of al-Sadr City.
Amnesty International condemned the killings in the strongest terms.
"Deliberately killing civilians can never be justified. Those responsible must be brought to justice," said Malcolm Smart, Director of Amnesty International's Middle East and North Africa Programme.
No armed group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
In the last few days, armed groups have stepped up their campaign of mass killings. At least 170 people have been killed since Saturday.
