Please find attached a copy of the October 1992 citizenship law of Bosnia-Hercegovina as received from the UNHCR in Geneva. According to the Consulate General of Bosnia-Hercegovina in New York, the citizenship law was passed on 10 July 1992. Information to resolve this inconsistency is currently unavailable to the DIRB.
This response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
