Spain/Canada: Whether there is a Canadian embassy or consulate in Spain; its location and the period that it has been functioning (2000-2002)

The Canadian Embassy in Madrid, Spain is located at Calle Nunez de Balboa, 35, 28001 Madrid, Spain (Canada 18 Mar. 2002), and it has been in operation since 10 September 1953 (Delong 1985 47). Canada also has two Consulates in Spain: one in Barcelona; and the other in Malaga (Canada 18 Mar. 2002). The Canadian Consulate in Barcelona is located at Plaça de Catalunya 9, 1°, 2ª, 08034 Barcelona, Spain, and the Canadian Consulate in Malaga is located at 2 Plaza de la Malagueta, 1st Floor, 29016 Malaga, Spain (ibid.).
