Czechoslovakia: Most recent Czechoslovakian regulations on travel

The IRBDC does not have any "official" confirmation on the most recent travel regulations in Czechoslovakia at this time. For the most recent public information, see a copy of an information request done yesterday, which is attached.

With the changes taking place in government in the last few days, it is difficult to determine whether decisions made by the old government are still in effect.

A CBC Radio report this morning indicated that numerous physical barriers on the Austrian-Czechoslovak border were being dismantled, but there is no written confirmation of this report as of yet.
