Decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic on Implementation of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Organizations and Funds)"
For the purpose of implementation of the enacted Law "On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Organization and Funds)", I decide that:
1. Within two months the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic shall:
- present proposals to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic on bringing the existing legislative acts in conformity with the Law "On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Organization and Funds)";
- ensure that legal and regulatory acts of the Cabinet of Ministers and of the relevant executive authorities conform with this Law, and submit information about this to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic;
- prepare draft legislative act that determines responsibility for violation of the Law "On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Organization and Funds)", and submit this draft to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic;
- deal with further issues arising from the Law "On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Organization and Funds)", within the scope of its powers.
2. It shall be determined that the Ministry of Justice of the Azerbaijan Republic shall exercise powers of the "relevant executive authority" that are provided in Articles 3.3, 14.3, 15.1, 15.2, 16.1, 19.3, 19.4, 19.5, 31.2, and 32 of the Law "On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Organization and Funds)"
