Resolution No. 529 of 24.08.1989
In accordance with the provisions of Para. (A) of Article (42) of the Constitution,
The Revolutionary Command Council have decided the following:-
First
An Iraqi, other than residents of the autonomy region provinces, may possess a residential plot of land at the autonomy region according to regulations in force as regards distribution of plots of lands to citizens, in addition to what he possesses at his birth place and he shall be covered, exclusively, by the Estate Bank loan.
Second
An Iraqi resident of autonomy region may possess a plot of land at Baghdad and other Provinces except (Nineve, At - tameem, and Dyala), besides the residence that he possesses at his birth place. He shall be covered exclusively by the Estate Bank loan.
Third
This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette; any text contradicting its provisions shall not be operated.
