Education under Attack 2010 - Burundi
Surges in child soldier recruitment in 2006 in June and July and after the September ceasefire were reported by the UN. There were also anecdotal reports of recruitment through raids on schools by National Liberation Forces (FNL) members. In April and May 2007, more than 28 schoolchildren were recruited in the provinces of Bururi and Ngozi.363
