Across the world, millions of refugees need support as they struggle under some of the most difficult of circumstances imaginable. Thankfully everyone has a talent, hobby or passion that they can put to good use to help ensure refugees get the assistance they need.
Are you an excellent baker, or a keen runner? Perhaps you love to sing and dance, or have a knack for organising events? Whatever it is that you are passionate about, we’d love to help you use it to support refugees.
Run a half marathon, do a sponsored swim, put on raffle or a car boot sale - whatever takes your fancy! Justgiving makes it really easy for your supporters to donate - just register your event, spread the word, and your friends, family and colleagues can all donate securely online. If you'd like to discuss your fundraising idea or use UNHCR materials and resources (T-shirts, posters etc.) please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Run the London Marathon

What are you up to after Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
Join us this 29th of November on #GivingTuesday - there's no better day to fundraise for your favourite charity or cause! Individuals around the UK will be organising their own community fundraisers to support UNHCR’s work and we would love for you to take part!
Here are some ideas:
Dinner party: Invite some friends over and get them to donate for your food. You could even organise a ‘Come Dine With Me’ competition.
Sponsored walk: Gather some friends or family and enjoy the outdoors while doing your bit to support refugees.
Film night: Prepare the popcorn, get comfy and have a donation box ready for your movie marathon.
Office exercise: Borrow an exercise bike and compete with your colleagues or chill out with 15 minutes of desk yoga.
Cake sale: If you would rather skip the exercise then ask people to donate to eat cakes instead!
Raffle: Charge a fee and the winner gets a prize. Just make sure you don’t use unwanted gifts, your friends might recognise them!
At school or university
Non-uniform day: Lose the tie and blazer to see who has the craziest fashion sense.
Talent show: Everyone can get involved – whether it’s doing a cover of their favourite song or selling tickets on the opening night.
Quiz night: Pay to play – easy! But the questions might not be...
