About Anatii

Anatii is a South African musician, producer, and High Level Influencer for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's, LuQuLuQu campaign. 

Through his music, he aims to spread the message of tolerance towards Africa’s forcibly displaced families. Anatii hopes that his involvement in the LuQuLuQu campaign will help create awareness of who a refugee is and what they go through, being mindful that just like everyone else, refugees have goals and ambitions. 

Anatii has visited Dzaleka, the largest refugee camp in Malawi, with UNHCR. The trip focused on the themes of refugee livelihoods and gaining a better understanding of UNHCR and its partners’ work to help refugees develop their skills. He interacted with coders at the Microsoft App factory and engaged with JWL degree candidates at the Arrupe Learning Centre. 

He also dedicated part of his mission to gaining a better understanding of the state of arts and culture in the camp, attending performances by various talented singing and dance groups, including the popular Salaema Africa group.
