UNHCR Operational Data Management Officer, Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific
Lamine Kane recently joined the DIMA Unit in UNHCR’s Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific as an Operational Data Management Officer after five years with PRIMES Support in Headquarters. In this role, he supports the management and use of operational data systems across the region, including registration, identity management, case management, and related applications. His work covers data quality assurance, interoperability, reporting, and capacity development. He is also the developer refactoring the software for the Digital Gateway Self-Service Kiosk, first introduced in Malaysia and to be extended to other contexts, ensuring the platform streamlines key processes while remaining secure and user-friendly for the forcible displaced and stateless persons.
