UNHCR Economist<\/strong><\/p>\n Valeria Lentini is the Economist for UNHCR\u2019s Operation in Costa Rica. She holds a A Ph.D. and Masters in Economics from the University of Zaragoza and the University of Sussex. She has over two decades of experience as a project manager, lead researcher, and senior policy advisor for think tanks (such as J-Pal LAC and the State of the Nation), academia, government, international organizations, and the private sector. Her research topics and most recent publications focus on inequality, labour markets, education, poverty, and social protection, mainly in Latin American and OECD countries.<\/span><\/p>\n Currently, Valeria is also an academic fellow at the University of Costa Rica’s School of Economics.
