Donate to UNHCR

Unrecognized and unwanted in Bangladesh, the Bangladesh government has permitted little humanitarian assistance to be given to the thousands of undocumented Rohingya living in southern Bangladesh.

Refugees need YOUR support now!

The UN refugee agency relies on contributions for some 97 percent of its income. The additional 2-3 percent of funding we receive from the United Nations is spent entirely on administration costs – meaning more of YOUR money goes to where it is needed most.

To make your donation online, first we need to know where you live. Please select your country of residence from the drop-down menu below.

In some of the most unforgiving places on earth, YOUR support can provide protection, shelter, food and clean water, as well as education and health care – all vital and urgent needs for people who have fled persecution or conflict.

UNHCR cares for more than 10 million refugees worldwide, and a further 14.4 million people forcibly displaced within their own countries. Sadly, the world's need for our work has never seemed so great. From emergency situations to continuing conflicts and crises – wherever people have been forced from their homes – our staff are there to help, to shelter and to protect.

For those who have lost everything, a little goes a long way. Your support will help ensure that we can continue to be there for as long as we are needed.

You can make a tax-deductable donation though our national offices and associations. Contact your local UNHCR office or association to find out how.

Thank you for your support!
