Venezuelan family finds home in Peru

Venezuelan refugees and migrants entering Peru through Tumbes have traveled thousands of kilometres in buses, hitchhiking, on foot. The UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, visited the border point in his mission to assess the regional impact of the flow of Venezuelans leaving their country. Nancy and Wender hitchhiked and walked all the way to Tumbes, Peru with their six-year-old son Cristian, eventually finding work and a home there.
