About the partnership

Since: 2021

Location: Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Nigeria.

At the start of 2021, the ProFuturo Foundation partnered with UNHCR to help improve the quality of education for refugee and host community students, encouraging student participation in the classroom, improving student enrolment and retention, and enhancing the use of digital tools and online platforms for teachers.

In 2021, the ProFuturo digital education programme was implemented in 15 schools in Rwanda, including the provision of technology (such as computers, tablets, routers, chargers, and projectors), an educational content platform, as well as a training and capacity-building program for more than 300 national teachers.
