The Goliaths

About the Goliaths

The Goliaths are High-Level Influencers for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's LuQuLuQu campaign, and they use their platform to create awareness and raise funds to help forcibly displaced families restart their lives.

The Goliaths are an award-winning comedic entertainment group in South Africa. The trio consists of Jason, Donovan and Nicholas Goliath.

The Goliaths have visited Dzaleka, the largest refugee camp in Malawi, to gain a better understanding of UNHCR and its partners’ frontline work.

The Goliath brothers were instrumental in pushing the LuQuLuQu COVID-19 emergency response campaigns, which included fundraising and public engagement and awareness initiatives in an effort to help protect forcibly displaced families against the spread of the coronavirus in the refugee camps.

In December 2018, they organised a Goliath X LuQuLuQu event to raise funds for African refugees, featuring performances by A-list entertainers including Tresor and Anatii. The trio, in collaboration with the LuQuLuQu campaign, also hosted a comedy festival at Time Square in Pretoria, South Africa. All proceeds from the event were donated to UNHCR.
