Challenge

The arrival of many Venezuelan refugees and migrants, as well as forcibly displaced from other countries, has resulted in elevated levels of unemployment, economic and social marginalization, and restricted access to educational resources and employment prospects in Ecuador.

Solution

Fundación MUEVE aims to establish a creative and digital hub that will focus on technological and digital training (for instance, design and manufacturing with 3D printers and scanners), fostering innovation, and creating a collaborative ecosystem to promote socioeconomic integration and social cohesion.

Impact

This project will reach more than 500 individuals, using digital innovation to address the challenges of unemployment and economic hardship, and foster economic and social inclusion.
