Challenge
The influx of Sudanese refugees into eastern Chad is overwhelming humanitarian systems while refugee-led organizations remain excluded from decision-making and refugees lack access to timely service information.
Solution
Develop a multilingual low-bandwidth mobile application co-designed with refugees and RLOs featuring crowd-updated maps of services, newsletters with opportunities and schedules, and a platform highlighting refugee-led organizations.
Impact
The application will empower refugees with access to information, strengthen refugee-led organizations and support a more efficient and localized humanitarian response.
