This report is the result of a review of emerging practices by online labour platforms and other intermediaries that improve access to and quality of work for refugees and host communities.
UNHCR and the International Labor Organization's Promotion, Inclusion and Protection of Refugees in the Gig Economy project was funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands through its PROSPECTS Opportunity Fund. It aims to provide refugees and hosting communities with safer and more dignified access to digitally enabled livelihoods.
