South Sudan – A nation in crisis desperate for peace
Five years of conflict have forced nearly 2.5 million South Sudanese to flee from their homes. South Sudan is one of the fastest-growing refugee crises in the world. The majority of those fleeing to safety in neighbouring countries are women and children. Severe underfunding means millions of refugees and internally displaced people are struggling to survive.
