Not only did she continue to give lessons to her students, while looking after her elderly neighbours, she was a pillar of support for her colleagues at the town hall, with whom she works on the development of her adopted town Clermont Ferrand. For Rabab, who fled the war in Syria, the lockdown was not as traumatising as for some of her colleagues but did represent a moment of
