La Residence is a new restaurant in Paris who welcomes refugee chefs from all around the world to share their cuisine with parisians. It is a new place dedicated to refugee chefs within Ground control, an events and food stall in Paris.<br \/>\nEvery 2 to 6 months, the Residence will welcome a new chef, refugee in France, who will cook in the restaurant and benefit from training of an experienced Chef. Accompanied by a team of professionals from the Refugee Food Festival, the guest chef will then have a real space for expression and training to test and refine his talents.<\/p>\n<p> The Residence and Ground Control are also a place of information and awareness, with a culinary, cultural and solidarity programs.<\/p>\n<p>Nabil is a former engeneer who worked for CSC Bank in Syria. He arrived two years ago from Syria, at the moment he works for a car rental company and wishes to fulfill his dream: &#8220;opening a good restaurant in Orleans&#8221; where he now lives with his wife and two boys. <\/p>\n<p>Susanna Kilani, 43, has an english literature degree from the Damascus University and used to work in Syria for the Arab Board of Health Specialization.
