As the Euros kick off, Goal Click Refugees returns with new content from Spain, Australia and Ukraine.

The series was initiated in 2020 and continues this year with new stories released as the UEFA European Football Championship starts June 11 and the refugee community prepares to celebrate World Refugee Day on June 20.

For the campaign, UNHCR and Goal Click collaborated with refugees and asylum-seekers around the world to document their personal stories and experiences through football in refugee settlements and urban situations and among their host communities.

Using disposable cameras they have offered a snapshot in to their lives on the pitch, at their clubs and on the streets to tell us why football is so important to them, and how it has helped re-centre their lives in displacement.
