In 2017, The We Company launchedThe We CompanyRefugee Initiative. This began as a grassroots movement to create employment pathways for refugees in their communities and has grown into a global commitment to hire 1,500 refugees over five years.
The Refugee Initiative is currently active in the US, UK and Latin America, and The We Company is actively encouraging its members and partners to join its effort.

The We Company is also a proud member of the UNHCR #WithRefugees Coalition. To support refugees, The We Company has sponsored public awareness activities and collaborated with UNHCR on engagement events such as private sector convenings, World Refugee Day and city-wide holiday activations for UNHCR’s social enterprise brand, MADE51.
