Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has been a key partner to UNHCR for more than three decades, working through institutions such as:
- the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief)
- the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD)
- the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
Together, we’ve helped bring critical support to millions of refugees and displaced people around the world.
Beyond funding, Saudi Arabia actively promotes long-term engagement with forcibly displaced communities. This includes strengthening partnerships – particularly between the public and private sectors – to help refugees rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
UNHCR has been present in the Kingdom since 1987. Together, we are building a future where displaced families are supported, protected, and empowered.
The Saudi Arabia multi-country office covers activities in Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and in the United Arab Emirates. It also covers, without a presence, Bahrain and Oman.
