Mercy Masika is a celebrated Kenyan gospel musician and humanitarian committed to uplifting marginalized voices. As a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, she has continuously used her platform to advocate for refugee rights and raise awareness about education, resilience, and community support.
Mercy has been a lead supporter in several digital advocacy campaigns, including the LuQuLuQu “Party of One” campaign during COVID-19, and multiple editions of the Bonga for Life initiative, which mobilized Safaricom subscribers to donate Bonga Points to support refugee women and girls. Her consistent support during seasonal giving moments, such as the Diwali “Share Your Light” campaign in 2023, has helped boost visibility and resources for those forcibly displaced.
In addition to her digital presence, Mercy has supported refugee education through awareness campaigns tied to the UNHCR Charity Golf Tournament in 2023 and 2024, encouraging audiences to take action through giving and engagement.
