World Refugee Day 2004 National Activity Plan: Finland

UNHCR will hold a press conference in connection with World Refugee Day in Helsinki on 15 June.

The agency will organise a mock refugee camp in Helsinki with the participation of actors from the Helsinki City Theatre. It will also show the film, "Return to Afghanistan", in cooperation with Finnish schools.

40,000 World Refugee Day "A place to call home" postcards are being distributed in 25 Finnish cities - in public places such as restaurants, cafés, bars, pubs, cinemas and student societies.
