UNHCR staff register refugees at the Douma registration center on the outskirts of Damascus. Registering with UNHCR ensures that the most vulnerable refugees receive aid.

Permanent arches welcoming refugees were installed in Santiago's Metropolitan Park, where a tree-planting ceremony was also held. The event was organized by Vicaría de Pastoral Social and brought together refugees, government officials and NGOs.

Celebrated journalist Amaro Gomez Pablo recorded a new radio spot featuring refugee children from Sri Lanka and Colombia.
