Joint Communique - Regional Conference on Comprehensive Solutions for Burundian refugees_March 2026

The Government Representatives of the Republic of Burundi, the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Mozambique, the Republic of Rwanda, the Republic of South Africa, the United Republic of Tanzania, the Republic of Uganda, the Republic of Zambia, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Burundian Refugee Representatives, the European Union, Development actors, the Office of the UN Special Envoy for the Great Lakes, UN Agencies, Regional Economic Communities, Civil Society Organizations, convened in Nairobi, Kenya, on 18 March 2026 at the Regional Conference on Comprehensive Solutions for Burundian Refugees agreed to commitments in this signed Communique and remain actively seized of the matter.
