World Refugee Day 2002: Central African Republic

A three-classroom block was inaugurated at Molangue Primary School for Congolese refugees.

Government officials, diplomatic corps, and NGO workers paid a visit to the refugee camp in Molangue to commemorate World Refugee Day. Refugees participated in a football match, drawing contest, and other activities.

Parliamentarians were sensitised on the refugee issues and the work of UNHCR.
