World Refugee Day 2004 National Activity Plan: Burkina Faso

On 17 June, UNICEF will hold a conference on the theme, "Consequences of armed conflicts on children". The next day, UNHCR will organise a conference about durable solutions and voluntary repatriation. The agency's operational partners will also promote their activities.

An official ceremony will be held on 19 June, as well as an exhibition and a sale of products made by refugees. Activities on 20 June include a running race and a reception. The World Refugee Day TV spot will be broadcast.
