Angola: UNHCR saddened by landmine deaths
UNHCR is shocked and saddened by the news of a landmine explosion in Angola that killed seven people and injured six, most of them local medical personnel of the Médecins Sans Frontières travelling in an MSF vehicle last Friday. The incident illustrates the dangers faced in Angola by local people and humanitarian aid workers who try to help them, as their country emerges from decades of civil war.
