At its 3rd plenary meeting, on 4 February 2000, the Council elected Chile, Côte d'Ivoire and Republic of Korea to the Executive Committee of the Programme of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, in accordance with General Assembly resolution 54/143 of 17 December 1999.
