20 June 2006
- From 12pm to 6pm, on 20 June a concert will be held in Toronto's central downtown Yonge Dundas Square headlined by a celebrity artist and former refugee artists/musicians. This gathering aims at demystifying the negative image of asylum seekers.
- The richness of talents and contributions that Canadian refugees hold will be shared in a cultural-theatre event in Montreal. These will include information kiosks, various performing artists from all corners of the globe and the screening of the film "Who Shot my Brother?".
- Musical bar entertainment at the Rainbow Bistro is planned to take place in Ottawa on 20 June, 7 pm.
