- Outdoor public event on 20 June at the Moscow City Centre for Young People's Creativity in Moscow, including a multi-cultural fair organized by refugees, refugee and local brass band, children's games. T-shirts with World Refugee Day and UNHCR logo will be distributed.
- UNHCR photo and poster exhibition at the Institute on Tolerance at the State Library of Foreign Literature in Moscow (19 June - 17 July).
- World Refugee Day poster campaign in Moscow subway (June).
- Children's creativity festival will be held at the House of Culture in Grozny, Chechnya and in Nazran, Ingushetia, as well as Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia-Alania. (20 June).
- In collaboration with ARS Press, a seminar for journalists will be held. Moreover, Radio of Russia will broadcast "Call-in pledge of support" by the radio programme "New Place of Residence".
- In local magazines, UNHCR will promote refugees' tradition and culture by way of placing recipes by refugees in women's magazine.
