UNHCR India: Key Priorities in 2026
UNHCR’s strategic priorities for 2026 focus on sustainable and inclusive responses for refugees and asylum-seekers, with an emphasis on access to public services, self-reliance, resilience and protection. The priorities also strengthen partnerships, digital access, refugee participation and pathways to durable solutions, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals and the Government of India–UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2023–2027).
